Casting Call for "His Daughter". Shot on an iPhone, College student, also actress should have resemblance or slight resemblance to the main characters. Set in August 1970 during a high-profile murder trial, a shattered father confronts his detached, unremorseful daughter in a prison visitation room, forcing both to face the traumatic collapse of their family history. Will probably need the same actress for the second part. Edward is a recovering alcoholic who abandoned his children following his wife's death, a guilt that suffocates him daily. He moves from a state of desperate pleading and deep heartbreak to intense fury, before reaching a final, hollowed-out realization about his daughter. Requires an actor capable of delivering a raw, unrestricted emotional breakdown, you can also practice.
A stern, professional, and entirely unbothered corrections officer in charge of monitoring the high-security visitation room.
