About the project: "Girls' Night Out" is a cinematic short film about five Black Women from five African nations navigating one Friday evening together in Vancouver, BC. Each woman carries something invisible into the night. What they find in each other is what no institution could provide. The film is targeting festival submissions. This is a portfolio piece for everyone involved. Rate: Non-Union. This is a volunteer project. Crafty and catering will be provided. Will be submitting to festivals.
