About the project: Logline: When a closeted boy-group idol is threatened by his teenage fan’s dark obsession, he must choose between real love with his groupmate and the performative fantasy that made him famous. East Asian/Mixed Asian. Sipporting. As the creator of Pretty Boy$, Roxy is the group's controlling and money-hungry manager. He sees himself as a father figure to the boys, possessing a saviour complex. Roxy is harsh on the group members, but truly believes his exploitation is a form of love and care. He is in denial of the fact that he literally created this crazed superfan and tries to sweep her behaviour under the rug.
