About the project: A courageous act of kindness revolutionizes Hugo’s world as a shut-in. But as tragedy strikes, Hugo must find a way to remember the light he was given. That was a two-sentence synopsis of a feature film my Pittsburgh-based indie studio is making, full of talented artists who have won awards like best youth film in Sundar prize film festival, scholastic art awards, prime stage supporting actor award nominee, and more. Additional info: This will be an hour-long feature film, so the time commitment will be substantial. Directors will be operating under the following schedule: - June - pre, July - production, August - reshoots/post - Wed-Sun 6-9 PM - In July, Sat will be full-day shooting (8 am to 9 PM) and Sun will usually be off Callbacks on June 20th 6-9 PM; auditions by appointment June 15-17, 3-6 PM (or 9 PM); Rehearsals will start June 24th.
