About the project: At a reunion party with his old high school friends, a young man emotionally drifting from his long-term girlfriend avoids confronting their failing relationship by disappearing deeper into the intoxication and momentum of the night. Rate: Non union. Main roles will be paid a flat rate of 100 dollars each. Travel will be covered/compensated, food provided. A young man quietly drifting through a relationship he no longer fully believes in, late avoids confrontation at all costs, convincing himself that staying with Megan is an act of compassion rather than fear. Passive, emotionally conflicted and increasingly detached, he hides behind routine and indecision until his avoidance slowly mutates into self-destruction.
Sincere, emotionally invested, and quietly vulnerable, Megan still believes in the relationship Tate has already begun emotionally leaving behind. While she senses his growing distance throughout the night, she continues trying to hold onto the connection honestly, making Tate's inability to confront the truth even more painful.
An old high school friend who re-enters Tate's life a t the reunion, Ana represents escape, nostalgia, and the illusion of emotional freedom. Comfortable within the chaos of the night, she becomes someone Tate projects his growing detachment onto as he drifts further away from Megan.
