About the project: A 12–15 minute theatrical presentation inspired by the Harlem Renaissance. Through poetry, music, movement, and storytelling, this original piece highlights the artistry and contributions of Black queer creatives whose voices helped shape this iconic cultural movement. Additional info: Performance date: June 27, 2026. Venue: ArtXChange Gallery, East Point, GA. Commitment: 1–2 rehearsals plus performance. Volunteer opportunity — all performers are welcome to audition. Performers of all backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations, and experience levels are encouraged to audition. Casting will be based on talent, storytelling ability, and connection to the material.
