About the project: "For Tara Lynn" is a melancholic coming-of-age drama captured through a nostalgic, VHS aesthetic. A young girl from the 90s dreams of the life she could’ve had. Rate: Unpaid/Non-Union (Great piece for reel/portfolio development, food/refreshments provided on set. Additional information: Production Type: Independent Short Film (YouTube Release/Movie Database). Genre: Drama/Coming-of-Age. Filming Date: July 5th - 7th, if directors need to do more filming we will. Location: Burlington and Hamilton ON (Residential & outdoor neighborhood/park locations, the grandparents house, the dads house and for sure their house. Submission Deadline: June 27th, 2026. When applying, please submit name, age, and the role you are applying for. Clear recent photos. Most of this short film is improvised so no real script is given or much dialogue. The voiceover will be done after filming. Availability: Confirmation of full availability June 30th, June 31st, July 1st, July 2nd, and Possibly July 3rd in the Burlington and Hamilton Dundas area. If more filming dates are being done they’ll let the cast know. It’s around 7 minutes long.
