About the project: Claire arrives for what she believes is a prestigious scholarship interview. As the questions grow increasingly personal and impossible for the interviewer to know, she realizes she is not being evaluated for opportunity, but for something more final and permanent. Rate: Non union. Unpaid. Food & drinks provided. Additional information: Exact shoot dates TBD (Mid to late July depending on actor availability). Location: Edmonton & surrounding area. Lead. Initially a cold person, they conduct the interview with precision and efficiency, not allowing for emotions to show. They treat personal revelations as administrative data. There is no aggression, just inevitability. Most scenes, 3-4 days of shooting.
East Asian. SUPPORTING. A hurt father whose daughter ignores his calls after an argument. Worried about his daughter’s wellbeing. 1 scene, ½ day of shooting
SUPPORTING. Close friends with Claire, who doesn’t care about her. Cares too much about her relationship with Claire to notice that Claire is hurting her. 1 scene, ½ day of shooting.
SUPPORTING. Represents a moral misconduct for Claire during her interview. Trips while on campus and is ridiculed by Claire. 1 scene, ½ day of shooting
