"Timeless" Podcast Seeking Guests

About the project: What started out as a fearful college student’s documentary project about women and ageing is being revived as a video podcast. With "Timeless", the mission is to bridge the gap between women of all ages through empowering conversations, and by highlighting the lived experiences of our guests. Rate: Volunteer. Additional information: Right now, directors casting for the pilot episode. Especially interested in speaking with women who identify as advocates, survivors and those who are passionate about uplifting their community through meaningful dialogue. These are some of the topics directors plan to explore: - Trans Joy and Resilience; - Sex Trafficking: How to Spot the Signs, Survivor Advocacy etc.; - Challenging Ageism. 1. Trans Joy. Finding Light in a World Determined to Force You Into Darkness Looking for a trans-woman who is comfortable discussing her journey (mental, emotional, physical, all of the above etc.) with us on camera. Rather than spotlighting trauma and hardship, the purpose of this episode is to highlight the importance of community and practicing radical self-love. WOMAN IDENTIFYING.
2. Sex Trafficking. Looking for a guest who has survived the impacts of sex trafficking & would be comfortable being interviewed about their experience on camera. The purpose of this episode is to speak about sex trafficking in a way that can both comfort survivors as well as educate folks on how to spot the signs. WOMAN IDENTIFYING.
3. Ageism: You Are More Likely to See a Talking Animal in a Film than a woman over 60. Seeking a guest comfortable speaking about her experiences with ageing and by that extension: ageism. Particularly interested in speaking with women who work in the entertainment industry, on either side of the camera.
