Theater Audition for "Spider's Web" Play

About the play: Clarissa is adept at spinning tales of adventure, but when a murder takes place in her drawing room, she finds real-life drama much harder to cope with. Desperate to dispose of the body before her husband arrives with an important politician, she enlists the help of her guests. Hilarity ensues when they are interrupted by the arrival of a wry detective. Written by the Queen of Crime, Agatha Christie, “Spider’s Web” is a wickedly witty night of murder. The play combines a unique blend of suspense and humour, with an intricate plot of murder, police, invisible ink, hidden doorways, and secret drawers! Rate: Volunteer acting roles are available for all experience levels - every part is open. Additional information: Show Week Dates: November 1-8, 2026. Rehearsals take place in the St. James neighbourhood. Line Read: For those who are selected for the cast, the first line read of the play (and handing out of scripts) will take place Wednesday, June 24, 2026, in the evening. No experience is required to audition. You will be provided short sections from the script in advance of the auditions.
