About the project: Thornton Wilder's Our Town is a snapshot of how people lived in New England at the beginning of the previous century, and a story about human longing, preoccupation, and loss — a meditation on religion, spirituality, and eternity. This production will find its own creative path through Wilder's script. Cast size will be determined through auditions; some roles may be doubled or tripled. Additional info: Directed by Peter Green. All ethnicities and complexions encouraged to audition. Mime skills, while not required, are welcome for all principal roles. Musical ability (keyboards, guitar, violin, or cello) is also a plus. No material needs to be prepared in advance. Audition dates: Sunday, June 7 and Monday, June 8, 6:30–8:30 PM Location: Powerhouse Theatre in Waveny Park Rehearsals tentatively begin August 11.
