2 roles

SANDRA REYESFemale50-59 y.o.Latino / Hispanic

Sandra is church-polished and carefully composed. Her default is a neutral mask. Beneath it is a woman who loves her daughter and has spent years failing to show it in any way that counts. Sandra's arc is the emotional backbone of the film: from guarded concession to the most honest reckoning of her life. This role requires a performer who can carry enormous subtext, sit in long silences, and deliver a confession scene that earns every word. Pay: $750 flat / 4 days + $100 gas stipend

ROBERTO M. REYESMale50-59 y.o.Latino / Hispanic

Roberto is a hard man — but the horror of him is that he's never cruel. He's almost gentle when he closes the door on his own child. Churchgoing, controlled, certain. He appears in two scenes: the film's opening (watching his young child at church with a fist slowly curling against his leg) and a key flashback — the moment he steps into the doorway, moves his crying wife behind him, and tells Ava she can take a plate to go. One day of shooting. Pay: $200 flat / 1 day + $50 gas stipend
