"Foreplay" Micro-Budget Indie
Casting call for our upcoming proof of concept slasher short film “Foreplay”. We are looking for actors who love horror films and are enthusiastic about helping us bring a new iconic horror franchise to life. LOGLINE: A young couple’s attempt to spice up their relationship at an exclusive underground swingers club spirals into a surreal and terrifying night where desire, jealousy, and violence blur together behind closed doors. NOTE: Non-explicit sexual situations, horror violence, physical acting required.

Not much is known about the ghastly entity referred to as “O”. There are scary folk tales amongst the swinging community of a tall, burly figure, draped in tight bondage gear, committing horrific acts during sessions of debauchery. But they were only spooky stories, right? Note: Actor should have an intimidating physicality and be comfortable performing in heavy costume/mask work.
James’s GF. Confident, seductive, and adventurous. Chiara is the more dominant half of her relationship, excited by danger and sexual experimentation. Beneath her playful confidence is someone chasing thrill and emotional escape. Performer must be comfortable portraying sensuality, fear, and escalating terror.
Chiara’s BF. Tall, attractive, and outwardly confident, but emotionally insecure underneath. James enters the club nervous and jealous, desperate to prove himself. His journey moves from discomfort, to pleasure, to total psychological and physical horror. Actor must carry much of the film’s emotional progression.
A mysterious woman, a regular at the club, who appears sensual, calm, and experienced. Confident in the environment and comfortable with strangers, she quickly puts newcomers at ease with an eerie charisma. The actor should have strong physical presence and expressive acting despite limited dialogue
