Casting Dancers for a Short Film

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking female, non-binary and gender expansive dancers of all ages for a dance short film. Please, see the details below. About the project: This short film will be a choreographed routine to raye's click clack symphony. Many people feel that the world is deeply divided, and lacking unity and connection. In the midst of that, art remains a powerful force. creativity and expression offers both an escape from present struggles and a lens through which they can better understand them. With this project, directors hope to foster connection by bringing together empowered dancers in Calgary, to collaborate, and uplift one another. At the same time, they hope to inspire audiences to celebrate the strength of the artists in their own lives. Rate: Non-union. Unpaid. Additional information: Being shot in Calgary, Alberta. Tentative shooting dates: Rehearsals: July 17th and 18th. Shooting: July 19th with holdover days July 20th and 21st. When applying, please submit your dance reel /video and resume.
