Audition for Student Movie "Brigadeiros"
Casting call (in-person/by appointment) for “Brigadeiros” student film. Actors needed. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please find the details below. About the project: Logline: It’s about a young undocumented immigrant, who wants to get along with his in-laws by making a good first impression, but then he discovers his father-in-law is an ICE agent closing in on him. Additional info: A non union production. Shooting dates: to be announced - July. Actors, please apply for sides and an audition time slot. Also, if you cannot appear in-person to audition (Saturday June 6th, 1-5pm), apply to inquire about the possibility of a virtual or self-taped audition.

João's girlfriend, caught between loyalty to her father and love for João. Anxious and conflict-avoidant. Requires emotional nuance.
Sara's father, a active ICE officer. Authoritative, calculated, and deliberately intimidating.
Sara's mother. The emotional anchor of the household, a kind, attentive host.
