Edmund is a warm, eccentric, theatrical older poet — grandfatherly, charming, funny. He can be childlike and playful in one moment, then suddenly shift into accusation, wounded anger, and passionate intensity. This is a very performance-driven role with a lot of emotional shifts — from humor and playfulness to volatility and anger, and finally vulnerability. British accent required. Theatrical/classical background is a plus.
