About the project: Siblings Q and Z reflect on their childhood, their family's immigration journey, and the complex realities of growing up between two cultures. Through fragmented memories, the play explores how identity, sacrifice, and personal choices shape their diverging paths and strain the siblings' relationship over time. Ultimately, it is an in-depth examination of family, belonging, and the emotional cost of becoming who we are. Rate: $623 weekly minimum (SPT 6). Additional info: First rehearsal: March 15, 2027. First preview: April 7, 2027. Opening: April 9, 2027. Closing: April 18, 2027. Equity actors sought. Performers of the diaspora of the global south are encouraged to audition. All ages, races, ethnicities, gender identities, sexual orientations, and abilities encouraged to audition. Please prepare two contrasting 1.5-minute monologues. Please bring headshot and resume, stapled together. Typical schedule: rehearsals held evenings and weekends. 6 performances Tuesdays–Saturday evenings at 7:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00 PM. Two-week run. An Equity monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of the audition. Always bring your Equity membership card. Video submissions due by June 7, 2026. Ensure link is shareable.
