The HusbandMale19-29 y.o.All ethnicities

The other womanFemale19-29 y.o.All ethnicities

This is the role of the “hero,” known to the characters but unknown to the audience. She appears in only one or two scenes towards the end and helps the wife break the cycle, relieving her of the responsibility of cracking open the walnuts.
