About the project: A dramatic short film set in Denver's historic Five Points neighborhood in 1997. The story follows a passionate young writer and activist struggling with friendship, displacement, and creative purpose while discovering inspiration through the legacy of Oscar Micheaux. Rate: Paid. All roles paid. Additional info: Shoot location: Denver Metro Area. Shoot dates: Specific dates TBD — 3 days in late June 2026 to mid-July 2026. Non-union project. Auditions by appointment only. Audition dates: Saturday, May 30, 2:00–5:00pm (Cherry Creek) and Sunday, May 31, 2:00–5:00pm (Centennial). Please come prepared with a monologue. Sides will also be provided.
