The company is holding auditions for "Warm" Film and looking for performers, please see the details below ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: An atmospheric micro-short exploring the visceral memory of a relationship marked by deep pain and radiant warmth. Makes physical Richard Siken’s concept of a ‘gold room where everyone gets what they want.’ Rate: $150 for one eight hour day (plus credit and meals). Travel stipend available for out-of-town talent (up to a capped amount, to be discussed upon casting). Role Type: Lead Core Traits: Rin is intelligent, darkly funny, and existentially aware. Her sensitivity is a blessing and a curse—at the root of both her deepest struggles and profound creativity. She notices everything. She feels everything. She is broken by grief and through the cracks, an angel is coming through. Openness to semi-permanent fantasy hair dye is a plus.
Role Type: Lead Core Traits: The person we’re looking for is deeply kind and empathic. He has been through some tough experiences, and those experiences have shaped him into the kind of person who is fully present for the people he loves with groundedness and sincerity. He is down to earth, stripped of pretense and bullshit. There’s a warmth inside him. It’s okay if that warmth comes from a place of pain. Openness to semi-permanent fantasy hair dye is a plus.
