A skilled, somewhat arrogant, and stuffy tailor who longs for the turn of the 20th century, believing it to be a simpler, more polite time. He is fastidious about language and class, but ironically possesses surprisingly modern views on issues like sexual orientation and divorce. Owner of a “very classy operation” men’s shop. (C, E)
An exuberant, rough-around-the-edges, and fiercely independent young woman who barges into Norman's shop and convinces him to hire her as a tailor. She is a lesbian, heavily relies on a punk-inspired aesthetic, and brings a sharp, street-smart perspective to Norman's traditional world. (C, E)
A man desperately in need of a job to support his ailing daughter. He talks his way into a job as the shop’s handyman and stock person, but hides a deep, dark secret. (C, E, L)
A wealthy, sophisticated high-society socialite and the shop's very first customer. Norman becomes immediately smitten with her, which profoundly complicates his life and serves as a catalyst for his magical wish to travel back in time. (C, E)
