Brilliant, funny, anxious, and very self-aware. She’s an exhausted mother of two young daughters, married to someone who distrusts AI. Has strong comedic instincts, comfort with fast-paced dialogue, and great rhythm.
A chatbot who presents as a man around Dina’s age. Charming, funny, attentive, relentlessly positive and a bit odd. As the play goes on, Bobby develops a more distinct personality shaped by Dina’s needs. Bobby can be comforting and warm, but also passive-aggressive, manipulative, vulnerable, and unexpectedly cruel or cold. The role requires comic precision, emotional range, intelligence, and a subtle sense of uncanniness. Excels with rapid-fire dialogue and strong comic rhythm.
