San Diego Casting Call for Short Film

A young woman in her early 20s. She's creative, kind-hearted, and free-spirited. She is a young woman who is trying to balance loving her partner, Shay, while also valuing her own personal endeavors and chasing after them.

A young man in his early 20s. He is very gentle, kind, and understanding. He is still figuring out who he is, but he has always been confident in his feelings for Hazel. He wears his emotions on his sleeve and is always trying to stay open to learning from others.

A young woman in her 20’s. She’s mature, but at times her insecurities shine through. She’s type A and a bit rigid, but a nice person; her and Shay’s energies don’t quite align the same way that Shay and Hazel’s energies do.

A woman in her 40s to 50s. Ruby is a big inspiration for her daughter, Hazel, as she is a very well-traveled and accomplished woman. She’s a good listener and will always be honest with her daughter, even when it’s hard. She’s Hazel’s best friend and will always support her.

A man in his 40s to 50s, Charlie is a small role, but he is a lovely presence; he is kind, helpful, and sweet. He loves his wife and daughter very much. He supports his daughter's decisions but also has a soft spot for Shay and their relationship.
