Now casting actors for “The Buffer” pilot. Details are listed below. ONLY MD, VA & LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: After a gun jams during an attempted school-bus shooting in Prince George's County, a disgraced journalist returns home and becomes entangled in the emotional aftermath surrounding a community already carrying more violence, grief, and silence than it can hold. A grounded, urgent dramatic pilot presentation exploring survival, friendship, family, identity, and the corruption underneath the systems people are told to trust. Rate: Paid. Meals, credit, and footage provided. Additional compensation details shared with selected actors during the audition process. Additional info: Filming: Summer 2026. Location: Prince George's County, MD and surrounding DMV areas. Non-union and SAG actors welcome. Select roles will require self-tapes, callbacks, and chemistry reads. DMV local hires strongly encouraged. Prince George's County natives and PG County-based talent prioritized.
