About the project: (a 7-minute drama-thriller short film) A closeted boxer falls in love for the first time. But he cannot control his aggression, and begins to fear he may hurt his partner. Rate: Low budget non-union shoot. Paid for Lead and Supporting. Lunch provided. Additional information: Production includes an intimacy coordinator on set. Location: Calgary. Lead. Physically fit, athletic build. Closed-off, emotionally restrained yet can be volatile. Martial arts or boxing experience is a plus. Must be comfortable with on-screen intimacy with a male scene partner.
SUPPORTING. Warm, open and emotionally perceptive. Charismatic with a softness yet self-assured. Must be comfortable with on-screen intimacy with a male scene partner.
SUPPORTING. Athletic, competitive, and confident. A sparring partner who can be confrontational. Comfortable in physical performance, boxing choreography and SFX make-up.
Athletic build preferred. Background performers as members of a boxing gym.
