About the project: LOGLINE: A conflicted Jewish doctor and a closeted former extremist face an existential crisis when the young man they failed to save seems stuck in a persistent vegetative state. Rate: UNPAID. Meals will be catered, transportation and other costs will be covered. Additional info: Filming in Uptown, Minneapolis over the second and third weekends of August 2026. Co-lead Jewish doctor of internal medicine. Compassionate, driven by justice, but quick to anger and unsure of his place in the world. Smaller stature. Will be needed for one full day, one half day, and one night.
Co-lead Former extremist crumbling at the loss of the young man he loves, but led astray. Lean, average to tall, very short hair (ideally red, temporary color is OK). Will be needed for one full day, one half day, and one night.
Supporting. Jewish mother, but not a "Jewish mother" stereotype. Defiantly joyful despite all that life has thrown at her. Mother to Alan and his prickly older brother, Ben. Smaller stature. Will be needed for one scene, no more than half a day.
