6 roles
The stereotypical farcical hero, likable, frantic, seeks the path of least resistance. He is hungover the whole time.
Bill’s loyal best man who is the “anything-for-a-friend” type. Confident, endearing, dependable, and excitable. Lots of physical comedy.
The beautiful girl Bill wakes up to find in his bed the morning of his wedding. Hidden, gentle, charming, and sincere. Somewhat innocent and grounded. Must have great comedic timing.
The “bridezilla.” Desires the “perfect” wedding. She has a demanding Type A personality who bosses Bill around and relies heavily on Tom’s dependability. Her presence affects all other characters.
The hotel maid who ends up in the web of lies. She is the comedic anchor of the show. She is the voice of reason for the others and delivers her reason with wit. Dry, cynical, and “down-to-earth.” Must have great comedic timing.
The mother of the bride. She is absorbed in the wedding, so much so that she is mostly oblivious to the chaos around her. Loud, boisterous, disruptive, and unaware.
