Singing Audition for "Rock of Ages" Musical
Equity actors sought for 2027 season show "Rock of Ages". Additional information is included below for your reference. Rate: LOA $890 weekly minimum (Ref. to LORT) - 2025-26 rate Additional info: Audition day lunch 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM. PREPARATION: Please prepare two contrasting selections, bringing sheet music in the appropriate key; an accompanist will be provided. No acapella singing or singing to playback. If not singing: 2 contrasting 1-minute monologues OR one 2-minute monologue. All actors please bring a copy of your headshot and resume. EPA Procedures are in effect for this audition. Sexy rock star. Decided to leave his successful hair/metal-rock band to try it solo. Self-important, confident intriguing in all the wrong ways, the ultimate bad boy; he is all about sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll. Great strong comedic timing and strong rock tenor voice. (Vocal Range: C3-Eb5)
Hertz’s son, young German male. Works for his father but not by choice. Pressured and intimidated by his father. Shy and gentle with a big heart. Strong vocals and comedic timing. (Vocal Range: Db3-E5)
