Synopsis: After the body of their best friend disappears from its resting place, his closest companions must reconcile their respective conflicts - and shameful secrets - to uncover the truth. A grave robbed. A brotherhood divided. Raw wounds once again laid bare. Yet amongst it all, a hope they never could've fathomed... begins to "Arise."

Pragmatic and realistic due to being jaded. Probably ex-military; excellent planner. Iron-willed yet damaged. Fiercely loyal to his friends yet can come across as a jerk sometimes. Holds deep regret for his secret sin that traumatic evening. *Must have the ability to portray intense emotion (i.e. pained rage) in an authentic manner.
A youthful, bright-eyed idealist. Passionately optimistic, hopeful to the point of foolishness, and loves with his whole heart. However, he desperately represses the trauma of witnessing his closest friend's murder.
Had a rough past, but refuses to let it define her. Love is her motivator. Wants to find any scrap of hope or truth she can in this situation - but her cynical side threatens to snuff even that out. Must have the ability to portray extreme emotion (i.e. mournful anger) in an authentic manner.
Iain's older brother. Passionate like his sibling, but in the fiery way. Not an unpleasant guy by any means, but prone to sarcasm. Also tends to overthink / panic too soon. His personality sometimes clashes with Stone's, as we find out...
A stranger Mariah meets out in the cemetery, alone. His filthy work clothes and unassuming demeanor offer little insight into who he really is. Did he have a hand in this apparent robbery? Or... is he a part of something far beyond human imagination?
