"1776" Musical in Need of Equity Actors
Casting Equity actors for Theatre's 2026 Season show "1776". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please find the breakdown below. Rate: CORST $807 weekly minimum (Cat. zz) Additional info: All roles will be understudied. PREPARATION: Please prepare two brief contrasting songs. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring your headshot and resume stapled together. An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition. Equity’s contracts prohibit discrimination. Delegate from South Carolina. Despite his good looks, Rutledge is haunting and somewhat ominous as the youngest member of the Continental Congress. There is a serpent-like quality to him. Age 26. Vocal Range C3-A4.
