The role lives in reactions: micro-expressions of discomfort she's actively trying to hide, the slow override of her instincts to be agreeable. Directors need an actress who can play "trying not to seem rude" with real specificity, not big fear. Mostly silent in the back half — must carry the camera on her face alone. Lead role.
