Supporting Actors for Independent Short Film "While I Have You"

About the project: "While I Have You" is a family dramedy about messy mother-daughter love and learning to let go. Additional info: The film will shoot in Austin, Texas, in September 2026. Casting will be finalized by early June. If interested, please send us a short video answering the following: What is your name, height, and current location? Share 2 strong memories related to any of the following: - Learning Spanish or English - Moving to the U.S. - Visiting Puerto Rico, or the Caribbean island your family is from - Your favorite family holiday traditions Please answer at least one portion in Spanish or Spanglish so we can gauge Spanish proficiency. Fluency is NOT required. We want to get a sense of who you are (your presence, your personality, and your connection to the questions). MUST be Puerto Rican or Caribbean Bilingual (English/Spanish) An eldest daughter and a mother herself. Celeste is empathetic, composed, caring, grounded, and emotionally intelligent. No acting experience required, though experience is welcome. Especially interested in people who genuinely connect with the material, including community members who have never acted before.
