The Porch: The History of Mansfield - An immersive theater show
We are casting for The Porch: The History of Mansfield—an immersive stage production like never before at Farr Best Theater. This is also the official launch of P.I.C.T. (Poised Institute of Community Theatre), a 12-week training program for adult actors. Those selected will not only be cast in the production but will also train, grow, and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of theatre. This is more than a role—it’s an opportunity to develop your craft and be part of something powerful. The Porch: The History of Mansfield is an immersive theatrical experience where history comes alive all around you. Guided by two elder storytellers, the audience journeys through the town’s founding, growth, and defining moments. With actors among you, powerful sound, and vivid storytelling, you won’t just watch history—you’ll feel it. It’s a moving story of truth, resilience, and unity.
