(Lead): An introverted, dry-witted product designer who works from home. Well-meaning but socially awkward, Neil has grown used to his solitary life and is now adjusting to having a new “buddy” in his life.
(Lead): An upbeat, over-eager, occasionally boundary-crossing buddy. He genuinely wants to uplift Neil, but often overreaches with unsolicited advice, bad dad jokes, and enthusiastic romantic gestures.
(Support): Warm, clever, and surprisingly patient. She matches Neil’s wit, shares many similarities with his current circumstances, and brings a playful spirit.
(Support): Sharp-tongued, protective, and highly analytical. Sophisticated, elite, slightly judgmental, and the cynical foil to Buddy’s optimism.
