"Spamalot" Theatre's 2027 Season show in search of Equity actors. Please refer to the information below. Rate: LORT Non-Rep $1114 weekly minimum (LORT C) $889 weekly minimum (LORT D) Additional info: Audition day lunch 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. PREPARATION: To be considered for the full season (all musicals or musicals & plays), prepare 16-bars of an up-tempo song, 16-bars of a ballad, and a 1-minute monologue. To be considered for straight plays only, prepare 2 contrasting monologues, no more than 1 minute each. Directors encourage members to prepare for their audition at home, to the extent that they can (e.g., get dressed, hair/make-up, etc.) to avoid crowding in bathrooms and dressing rooms. A waiting room is available on site. EPA Procedures are in effect for this audition. An Equity Monitor will be provided. Equity’s contracts prohibit discrimination. Male-identifying; King of England on a quest to find the Holy Grail with the newly formed Knights of the Roundtable. Strong comedian and vocalist.
Male-identifying; cowardly Knight of the Roundtable ironically sporting a pet name of Sir Robin the Brave. Loves dancing and singing with the Knights. Doubles as Guard 1 and Brother Maynard, a pedantic monk. Strong dancer and vocalist.
Male-identifying; Fearless to a fault but happens upon his softer side. Doubles as The French Taunter, Knight of Ni, and Tim the Enchanter. Strong vocalist.
Male-identifying. King Arthur’s horse and servant. Desperate for the King’s approval. Doubles as Mayor and Guard 2. Dances and sings.
Male-identifying. A low-class, mud-gatherer to start, Dennis becomes the dashing Sir Galahad after he is knighted. Doubles as Prince Herbert’s Father & The Black Knight. Strong vocalist.
Male-identifying. An inept Knight of the Roundtable. Doubles as Dennis Galahad’s Mother and Concorde. Ensemble vocalist.
Female-identifying. A strong, beautiful, mystical diva. Strong comedian and vocalist.
Male-identifying. Doubles as Not Dead Fred, French Guard, Minstrel, Prince Herbert. Excellent mover and vocalist.
