Rate: LORT Non-Rep $1114 weekly minimum (LORT C) $889 weekly minimum (LORT D) Additional info: Audition day lunch 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. PREPARATION: To be considered for the full season (all musicals or musicals & plays), prepare 16-bars of an up-tempo song, 16-bars of a ballad, and a 1-minute monologue. To be considered for straight plays only, prepare 2 contrasting monologues, no more than 1 minute each. Directors encourage members to prepare for their audition at home, to the extent that they can (e.g., get dressed, hair/make-up, etc.) to avoid crowding in bathrooms and dressing rooms. A waiting room is available on site. EPA Procedures are in effect for this audition. An Equity Monitor will be provided. Equity’s contracts prohibit discrimination. Male-identifying. Jane and Michael’s father. A banker through and through. Lives by precision and order in all things, including his household. Not particularly warm to his children. RP British dialect. Bb2-Eb4.
Female-identifying; Jane and Michael’s mother. Works hard to be the model wife and mother. Beautiful warmth and simplicity to her approach to life and her children. RP British dialect. A3-D5.
Female-identifying. Housekeeper and cook for the Banks. Overworked, harried, and a complainer. Her rough exterior hides a warm heart. Does not need to be a strong singer. RP British dialect. F#3-D#5.
