"Evita" Broadway Show Seeking Equity Actors
Equity actors for roles in the Broadway production of "Evita". Find more information below. Rate: Production (League) The minimum base weekly salary for the positions being auditioned for is established by a collective bargaining agreement between The Broadway League Inc., on behalf of the above-named producer, and Actors' Equity Association. For Broadway, it is anticipated that the base weekly salary for each of the below-listed roles will range between a minimum of $2799 per week (which equals an annualized base salary of $145,548) and a maximum of $2799 per week (which equals an annualized base salary of $145,548). Additional info: Audition day lunch 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM. PREPARATION: Please bring in a song in the style of the show that shows range. Also bring your Picture and Resume stapled together. (Female, Non-Binary, Trans Fem). MISTRESS - One big solo number. Vocal Range: Light contemporary mix to E. EVA PERÓN - Able to connect to the ambition, pain, sympathy, anger, wit, mischievous humor, real authority. Experienced, charismatic at every level with an amazing singing voice. Vocal range: E below middle C – F 1 ½ octave above middle C. Strong mixed belt. Mistress (Eva Perón Alternate) will also be part of ensemble dance numbers, so they do need to be a strong dancer.
(Male, Non-Binary, Trans Male) - Charming loser – never quite made it. Has the first number in the story and sets up the world in which Eva exists. Vocal Range: “Cheesy” Baritone to G. Our Magaldi will also be part of ensemble dance numbers, so they do need to be a strong mover.
