Casting Equity actors for Stage Left: New Play Festival 2026 show "Novios". More information is provided below. About the project: A festival of new plays, presented in a staged-reading format. Rate: LOA-NYC $638 weekly minimum (for 22 hours of rehearsal + presentation) - under negotiation. Additional info: Audition day break: 1:30PM - 2:30PM. PREPARATION: Audition will consist of sides. Sides will be available the day of the audition. Please bring your headshot and resume stapled together. Rehearsal: 6/8/26-6/12/26 Presentation: 6/13/26 EPA Procedures are in effect for this audition. An Equity Monitor will be provided. Equity’s contracts prohibit discrimination. (31, Russian): Speaks with a light accent. Food runner. Dom daddy with a sad boy center. His definition of gay is a man who likes men and masculinity. Despite being embraced by the men, he’s still very much an outsider amongst them. There is something dark lurking beneath the surface.
(Mexican): Speaks Spanish. Line cook. This country may have jaded him but this kitchen has been home and he doesn't take quickly to strangers. Big hearted but guarded.
