Rate: LOA-NYC $638 weekly minimum (for 22 hours of rehearsal + presentation) - under negotiation. Additional info: Audition day break: 1:30PM - 2:30PM. PREPARATION: Audition will consist of sides. Sides will be available the day of the audition. Please bring your headshot and resume stapled together. (Mid 50s, Mexican): Speaks Spanish. The middle sister. Mother to Ximena. She appears fragile but she is physically strong. Tia Carmela evolves throughout this physically. Stress, fatigue all catch up too soon. Undocumented American.
(Mexican): Speaks Spanish. The youngest of the sisters. Gossip makes her hair thick and strong. She thrives in it. No kids. Just lovers. She’s unapologetically sexy. Tia Eugenia has big dreams and can never be caught without a bright red lipstick. Undocumented American.
Ximena’s ex-boyfriend. Fourth generation Latinx American. Completely removed from his Latinx culture. Paul is lighthearted and engaging, he is sincere but torn between love and loyalty. A white passing man.
Speaks Spanish. First generation immigration lawyer, Ximena’s husband in 2017. Latinx American, Proud of his Latinx roots. Definitely physically smaller than Paul but he stands tall and confident.
