Delilah is a shy young woman who’s pregnant with her first child. Although she is excited for this new chapter in her life, she constantly fears being a bad mother and becoming like her own mom. Years of pent up anger leads to Delilah having a horrific yet cathartic outburst.
Francesca is a prideful woman who has also been abused as a child, passing down that trauma to her daughter, abusing her as well. She knows Delilah is capable of being a better mom than her which makes her jealous because she was not a good parent herself.
