Theatre Casting Call for "Pippin"
Casting actors for the "Pippin" show. Please find the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Rate: $784 weekly minimum — 7 performances per week. Additional info: First rehearsal: October 27, 2026. Tech: November 12–15. Opening night: November 21. Closing: January 3, 2027 (extension to January 10, 2027). Location: Quintessence Theatre, 7135 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA. Please prepare a 16-bar cut in the style of the show in addition to one contrasting monologue. An accompanist will be provided. Total audition material should be 2½ minutes or less. Bring a hard copy of your headshot and resume. An Equity monitor will not be provided. Pippin’s father. King of the Holy Roman Empire (Charlemagne). Territory and warobsessed.
Fastrada’s son and Pippin’s stepbrother. A brawny idiot.
Pippin’s conniving stepmother. A seductress who uses her sexual appeal to benefit herself and her son.
Pippin’s grandmother. A brassy broad full of wisdom and sass. Encourages Pippin to live life to the fullest.
A widow and mother who falls in love with Pippin, helping him find himself. Theo, M, a young boy, Catherine’s Son.
They play all other roles in the show.
