While a famous boy with a lightning scar saves the world, the Puffs are left to navigate friendships, classes, and the chaos unfolding around them. The play is comedic and heartfelt, focusing on overlooked characters who ultimately discover their own sense of identity, importance, and belonging. Content Note: this production includes parody humor and mild language. Overall tone is PG-13. Additional info: Auditions: please plan to stay up to 2 hours. Audition requirements: - Prepare a 1–2 minute comedic monologue - Participate in improv exercises and games - Wear or bring comfortable clothing suitable for movement Directors are seeking performers with: - Strong comedic instincts - Comfort with physical comedy and fast-paced staging - Ability to portray multiple distinct characters - A collaborative, ensemble-focused spirit Please bring a list of any scheduling conflicts. Headshots and resumes are not required but are welcome. Performers of all backgrounds and experience levels are encouraged to audition. Callbacks: May 24 at 7:00 PM (by invitation only). Selected actors will be asked to read sides from the script. First rehearsal: begins May 31. Rehearsals are typically held in the evenings, Sunday through Thursday. Not all actors will be called to every rehearsal. Tech week attendance is mandatory for all cast members.
