"A La Misma Tormenta" Film Project Needs Actors
Casting Actors for upcoming short drama film titled "A LA MISMA TORMENTA", please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Additional info: The film takes place in San Diego, 2 Chicano / Latino young men must find an understanding between their conflicting identities, in midst of all this, they stumble upon a stash of gold that leads to an immigration enforcement vigilante chasing them down in a game of cat and mouse. The events of this film are metaphors to a modern recounting of the struggles of Mexican-Americans throughout history in regards to discrimination and exploitation practices. For the main 2 protagonists, the actors should preferably share a history, have a chemistry between each other, or be open to getting used to one another relatively quick. They will also be speaking Spanish for a good portion of the film. Actors should also be open to future changes as the script is currently in development and should be ready by summer for production. Actors will participate in a car chase, mall chase, comedic acting, fake smoking, and should have the ability to drive. Looking to represent dark-skinned Chicano / Latino actors, and are also looking for 2 White-American actors for the immigration enforcement roles, as well as an actor for a businessman role.
