"Bee Hive" Musical in Need of Equity Female Performers
Equity actors needed for 2027 season show "Bee Hive". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See additional details below. About the project: A high energy 60s revue. A jukebox style musical featuring hit songs from stars like Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, Tina Turner, and Carole King. Directors are seeking six dynamic female singers of any ethnicity with very strong dancer/mover skills. Rate: SPT $761 weekly minimum (SPT 8) Additional info: PREPARATION: Two contrasting monologues - each one no longer than two minutes or 32 bars of music (in the correct key) and one monologue not exceeding two minutes. An accompanist will be provided. Actors are encouraged to attend the dance call after the close of the EPA. An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition. Equity’s contracts prohibit discrimination.
