About the project: Just about everyone enjoys some type of Christmas music during the holidays. And Theatre loves to present a special holiday show as its Christmas card to the community. This year, presented for the third time, One of most popular holiday offerings. A Motown Christmas will grace the main stage and have you dancing in your seats to select holiday tunes — the kind we all love singing along with. Motown’s Barry Gordy had a vision that changed the music industry forever. This festive holiday revue is the culmination of that vision – a perfect blend of traditional Christmas carols paired with soulful songs made famous by such Motown celebrities as Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, the Supremes and The Jackson 5. Theatre's sizzling signature style makes this a most memorable Christmas treat that’s fun for the whole family! Rate: SPT $761 weekly minimum (SPT 8) Additional info: PREPARATION: Two contrasting monologues - each one no longer than two minutes or 32 bars of music (in the correct key) and one monologue not exceeding two minutes. An accompanist will be provided. Actors are encouraged to attend the dance call after the close of the EPA. An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.
