Performers Needed for Upcoming Theater Production
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. A new theatre production is seeking actors for a stage performance in Toronto, taking place in Etobicoke. See the details below. About the play: This project is developed in a European theatrical style, with a strong focus on physical theatre, movement, and expressive stage interaction. The production aims to attract directors from major Toronto theatre companies, as well as critics and media representatives, with the goal of future collaboration. Thematically, the performance explores moral conflict, sacrifice, and the tension between human life and higher ideals. Rate: Profit-share from ticket sales. Video recording of the performance for your portfolio. Additional information: No fixed deadlines. Once rehearsals begin — up to 2 months of preparation Rehearsal availability: Mon (full day) | Tue | Thu | Fri (until 5 PM) | Sun (after 5 PM). Downtown Toronto + theatre space. Elderly. Carries emotional depth, warmth, and underlying sorrow. Gothic tone.
French bohemian archetype. Emotionally distant, highly aesthetic. Requires movement (heels/ballet) and basic singing ability.
Art critic. Strategic, wealthy, and manipulative. Requires strong physicality for partnered movement (tango lifts). Costume includes partial torso exposure.
A member of the French bohemian circle. Like a small poodle following Snowflake. Sharp, sarcastic, and slightly biting in tone.
