Vocal range: F#3 to D5. Born with magical powers that she struggles to control, Elsa’s fear of hurting others pushes her to hide from the world and distance herself from the people she loves most. Underneath all the fear is a strong, determined leader, waiting for just enough warmth to step out of hiding and take her rightful place on the throne.
Vocal range: G3 to D5. Spunky, joyful, and charming, Anna defies social decorum and rules in favor of spreading her optimism and light throughout the Kingdom. She loves easily but feels the rejection of her only sister deeply. She might not have the magical powers that Elsa wields, but her inner strength and resolve is equally fierce.
Vocal range: G2 to A3. His sarcastic exterior hides a man with a big heart and a solid sense of right and wrong. Kristoff was raised by the Hidden Folk, so he doesn’t always know the rules of polite society and doesn’t really care to learn.
Vocal range: G2 to B3. As the ambitious 13th son of a king, Hans is always on the lookout for opportunities to make a name for himself. He is charming, handsome, and extremely good at reading people - all of which he uses to achieve his own personal goals.
Vocal range: F#2 to D4. To play the magical snowman created by Anna and Elsa when they were young. Olaf is endearingly delighted by everything - especially the idea of summer. Goofy and sweet, Olaf should possess a childlike innocence and excellent comic timing. The actor playing Olaf will be manipulating an Olaf puppet, similar to the portrayal in the original Broadway production. This actor will need to have strong vocal characterization, as well as the ability to bring a puppet to life!
A good-natured salesperson, true Hygge believer, and head of a very large family! Sings the big Act Two opening number with joyful abandon!
Vocal range: F#2 to D4. A visiting duke who possesses a huge inferiority complex. A bombastic, overbearing sycophant, Weselton's sole purpose is to hobnob with influencers and royalty. A comedic role for an actor with excellent comic timing and no fear of making a total fool of himself for our entertainment.
Mezzo-Soprano. The spiritual matriarch of the Hidden Folk. Wields magical powers and recognizes magic in others. She’s the nurturing vibrant adoptive mother of Kristoff and has a connection with the royal family of Arendelle but chooses to live in a magical “in between” land outside the reach of humans.
Baritone. The mystical patriarch of the Hidden Folk. Wields magical powers and recognizes magic in others. He’s the wise adoptive father of Kristoff and has a connection with the royal family of Arendelle but chooses to live in a magical “in between” land outside the reach of humans.
Warm-hearted ruler of Arendelle who is committed to protecting both his family and the Townspeople from his eldest daughter's powers.
Possesses a sense of rightness and kindness that guides her in her protection of her two young girls. A daughter of the Northern Nomads, this queen can communicate with the Hidden Folk of the mountains and therefore understands Elsa's powers deeply.
