Digital Content Creator to Produce Short-Form Videos

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Looking for a Digital Content Creator to join the company for the summer and take ownership of the short-form video content. Please, see the details below. Rate: $20/hour. 20 hours per week. May to August 2026 (approximately 16 weeks). Additional information: This isn't a "sit at a desk and schedule posts" kind of role. You'll be out in the city, visiting real Sparrow homes, meeting real people, and turning those moments into scroll-stopping content. Here's what a typical week looks like: Produce 3-4 short-form videos per week for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook Plan and execute on-location shoots across Toronto neighbourhoods (the Annex, Danforth, Leslieville, Mount Pleasant, Midtown, and more) Capture host tours, housemate interviews, neighbourhood walks, and day-in-the-life style content Edit all footage yourself using tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, or whatever you're fastest in Collaborate with the CEO on the weekly content calendar and creative direction Stay on top of trending formats and audio so our content feels native to each platform Write captions and suggest hashtags that actually fit (no generic spam) You're a Fit If: You can shoot and edit a Reel that holds attention past 3 seconds You have a portfolio that shows your work. TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, a personal project, anything where we can see how you tell stories You're based in Toronto and comfortable getting around the city by transit You're currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary program (this is required for the wage subsidy that funds this role) You're comfortable working independently and managing your own shoot schedule You care about the craft, not just the metrics Extra points if: you've lived in shared housing and get the vibe firsthand; you're bilingual; you're confident on camera and willing to be in front of it sometimes.
