Voice Job in Upcoming Production

About the project: Cyr the Destroyer is a science-fiction story about a fledgling alien ecogeologist who accidentally destroys his own world and is suddenly thrust into circumstances that will forever change the face of his home galaxy, the Large Magellanic Cloud. Rate: $100-150 per finished chapter. Additional info: Voice narration for four audiobook chapters (26,350 words total). Character: Khayleid, a bubbly young Elleghastan engineer in her late teens/early twenties. Voice direction: Ditzy, at times valley girl-ish (frequently characterized by uptalk/rising intonation). Far from dumb, considering she is an advanced optical engineer by trade. Must be able to record yourself at relatively high quality. There will likely be revisions. Audition will be 2-3 pages, including dialogue and narration. You will be given a pronunciation guide and character descriptions. Some general accents involved: Australian/Russian.
