ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Casting call for the summer musical "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown", seeking six strong performers. See more details below. About the project: Performance dates: July 17-26, Friday and Saturday evenings, Sunday matinee Audition information: VOCAL AUDITIONS - please prepare a selection from a song that shows off your vocal and acting range, no longer than 3 minutes. It is not required to sing a song from the show. Performers should bring an accompaniment track (with no vocals). A Bluetooth speaker will be provided. At this time, we do not expect to have a live accompanist at auditions. DANCE AUDITIONS - no need to prepare anything, but please come in clothes you can move in, and appropriate shoes! Our choreographer will teach a short combination that will be performed in small groups. All auditioners should plan to participate in dance auditions READING AUDITIONS - sides will be provided at auditions, no need to prepare anything. Directors are looking forward to seeing you at the auditions!

(male presenting)– The central character of the musical, Charlie Brown is an “everyman”. Though he is sometimes down, he is a kind, gentle kid with a big heart. Vocal Range: Tenor (A2-F4)
Charlie Brown’s lively pet beagle. Snoopy has a wild imagination. Vocal Range: Tenor or Alto (C3-A4 (opt. D5)) *Note - this part can be played by any actor who fits the vocal range. Physicality & dance experience helpful but not required.
(female presenting) – Charlie Brown’s younger sister, who is sweet, but can also be skeptical and a bit intense. Vocal Range: Soprano (A3-Bb5)
(female presenting) – Classmate and friend of Charlie Brown’s. Despite her brash exterior, she has moments of compassion, vulnerability, and insight. Vocal Range: Alto (G3-F#5)
(male presenting) – Lucy’s younger brother, who is intelligent and philosophical. Vocal Range: Baritone (A2-F#4) *Note - Dance experience helpful, but not required.
(male presenting) – Classmate and friend of Charlie Brown’s. He is a piano prodigy who is obsessed with Beethoven. Vocal Range: Tenor (A2-Ab4)
